Chimichurri is a staple in Argentina. This is a quick, easy version. Enjoy it as a topping to any meat. You could also use it as a dip for bread. Enjoy!

Ingredients For basic chimichurri

  • 1 c
    packed fresh parsley
  • 1 c
    packed fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 c
    white wine vinegar
  • 4
    garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil

How To Make basic chimichurri

  • 1
    In a food processor (or blender) add all ingredients, except the olive oil, and blend until chopped up finely.
  • 2
    Through the small opening of your food processor (or blender), slowly stream in the olive oil while the processor/blender is running. Do this until the mixture is a smooth consistency.
