Ingredients For asparagus with chile lime butter sauce
- FOR THE SAUCE

2 Tbspeach fresh lime juice and white wine vinegar

1 Tbspminced shallots

2 tspfresh chiles chopped red or green

1 tspfresh grated ginger

1 stickcold butter cut into chunks

1 bunchfresh asparagus trimmed

How To Make asparagus with chile lime butter sauce

1For the sauce Add the lime juice, vinegar, shallots, chilies and ginger into a saucepan. Bring to a boil and let reduce for about 3 minutes. Whisk in the butter 1 pat at a time until each is melted. Taste and adjust for salt. Set aside.

2For the Asparagus Bring a pan of water to a boil. Add salt and throw in the asparagus. Boil until desired doneness. About 3 to 5 minutes.

3Serve with sauce over top.
