Ingredients For amaretto glaze

  • 1 1/2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    honey
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1/3 c
    amaretto liquor

How To Make amaretto glaze

    In a saucepan, stir together brown sugar, honey and orange juice.

    Simmer, stir frequently until sugar dissolves and glaze thickens.

    Remove from heat, stir in Amaretto.

    Place breads or cake on a rack which is placed over a rimmed pan to catch drips. You will use the glaze again.

    Pour glaze over breads or cake. Whatever drips off, pour over bread or cake again.
