Years ago I took Japanese Cooking Classes and this recipe has been a constant favorite. It's not as sweet as many are.

Ingredients For teriyaki sauce

  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp
    fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 4 Tbsp
    mirin (japanese rice wine)
  • 1/2 c
    soy sauce

How To Make teriyaki sauce

  • 1
    Mix ingredients together and pour over 2 pounds of any kind of meat.
