This is one of my favorite homemade dressings/marinades. It's very versatile. It's great for pork, salmon, or chicken, and so delicious on salads that include fruit, you'll probably go back for a second helping!

  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 4 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp
    pancake syrup
  • 3 Tbsp
    grainy stone ground mustard
  • 1 pinch
    each salt and pepper

How To Make sweet and tangy salad dressing and marinade

  • Tangy dressing ingredients.

    Add all ingredients to a pint jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake vigorously to combine. (Or whisk together in a small bowl.)

    Refrigerate until ready to use as a marinade or to dress salad. Shake well before using. Refrigerate any unused portion; lasts almost indefinitely if kept refrigerated. (*Important! Discard any leftover portion that was used as a marinade.)
