I found this recipe in the instruction book that came with our gas grill years ago. It is amazingly good and so easy - it only takes 20 minutes to marinate steaks.

Ingredients For steak marinade

  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp
    fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt (optional)

How To Make steak marinade

  • 1
    Whisk all together. Marinate steaks 20 minutes (turn about four times). I add the salt because it gives the steaks more flavor, and you use less salt after they are cooked. Steaks can be grilled or cooked in pan.
