This recipe hasn't been tested, but it sound wonderful. I love Rhubarb and thought it would make an excellent sauce for chicken or pork.

Ingredients For rhubarb barbeque sauce

1 cchopped fresh or frozen rhubarb

2/3 cwater

1 mdonion, finely chopped

1 tspcanola oil

1 clovegarlic, minced

1 cketchup
-
2/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cdark corn syrup
-
2 Tbspcider vinegar
-
2 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1 Tbspdijon mustard
-
1 1/2 tsphot pepper sauce

1/4 tspsalt
How To Make rhubarb barbeque sauce

1In a small saucepan, bring rhubarb and water to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 5-6 minutes or until rhubarb is tender. Remove from the heat; cool slightly.

2Place the rhubarb in a blender or food processor. Cover; process until smooth; set aside.

3In the same saucepan, saute onion in oil until tender. Add garlic; saute 1 minute longer. Add remaining ingredients.

4Whisk in rhubarb puree until blended. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes. Use as a basting sauce for grilled meats. Store in the refrigerator.
