Ingredients For josephine's rib rub

2 cpacked light brown sugar

1 ckosher salt

3/4 corganic cane sugar

1/2 cgarlic seasoning

1/4 Tbspchili powder

1/4 clemon pepper

1/4 conion salt

1/4 tspcelery leaves
-
2 Tbspcoarse ground black ppper

1 tspground cloves
-
1cayenne pepper

1/2 tspmrs dash blend
- FOR RIBS

1/2 citalian salad dressing

1/2 tspblack pepper
-
1/2 cpacked brown sugar

1 cminced dried onion

How To Make josephine's rib rub

1For the rub. mix all ingredients together and store in air tight container. makes about 7 cups.

2The night before smoking the ribs, trim your ribs of all excess fat. place them in large plastic bag and pour in Italian dressing to coat. Seal bag well . Refrigerate for 6 hours, turning occasionally.

3Remove and wipe dressing off. sprinkle each rib with pepper then refrigerate over night. Generously coat front and back of ribs with rib rub and using your hands, rub seasoning into meat and set aside.

4Prepare your grill. place ribs bone side down, but not directley over hot coals. after 3 hours , remove ribs from grill and wrap in aluminum foil. Hold in covered grill for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until fork tender. baste with your favorite bbq sauce. Enjoy.......
