This recipe passed the picky eaters test!!! I use it for spaghetti and lasagna. This makes a big recipe so you can use what you like and freeze the rest til you need it again.

Ingredients For home made spaghetti sauce

28 ozcan stewed tomatoes

28 ozcan crushed tomatoes

1 lblean ground beef

2sweet onions, chopped

2yellow bell peppers, chopped

2bay leaves, dried

5 clovegarlic, chopped

2 Tbspwhite sugar
-
1 Tbspbasil, dried
-
1/2 tsporegano, dried

1/4 cparsley, fresh, chopped

salt to taste

pepper to taste
How To Make home made spaghetti sauce

1Blend both cans of tomatoes in blender. In stock pot, brown beef with onions, peppers & garlic. Pour in tomatoes and reduce heat. Add sugar, basil, bay leaves, parsley & oregano. Simmer about 40 minutes.

2Remove bay leaves & season w/ salt & pepper to taste before serving.
