Most dry rubs contain chili powder, which my husband does not care for at all. So I created an all-purpose dry rub to be used on grilled meats.

Ingredients For ginger's dry rub

  • 2 Tbsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    paprika, sweet mild
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground thyme
  • 1/2 -1 tsp
    cayenne paper

How To Make ginger's dry rub

  • 1
    Mix all spices together and use a whisk or fork to blend well.

    Sprinkle onto meat and massage with fingers. Chill covered 30 mins. - overnight.
