This, in my opinion, is as good as any Chinese restaurant teriyaki sauce. I serve it with grilled chicken breast, cut into strips, with mixed Chinese vegetables over rice. Yumm!

1/4 csoy sauce (i use reduced sodium)

1 cwater

1/2 tspground ginger

1/4 tspgarlic powder

5 Tbspbrown sugar

1 Tbsphoney

2 Tbspcorn starch

1/4 ccold water
How To Make best homemade teriyaki sauce

1In medium saucepan, mix first 6 ingredients. Heat to boiling and reduce heat to medium-low.

2In small bowl, mix corn starch and 1/4 c. cold water. Stir into hot mixture and simmer until thickened.

3Remove from heat and cool slightly. Use as you would any teriyaki sauce.
