Ingredients For tomato mincemeat

  • 1 pt
    chopped, green tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 pt
    chopped, tart apples, peeled and cored
  • 3 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 lb
    raisins
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    allspice
  • 1 tsp
    cloves
  • 1/4 c
    vinegar

How To Make tomato mincemeat

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients in large saucepan and bring to a rapid boil, and simmer until thick , about 25 minutes. Pour into sterilized jars and seal. No water bath necessary.

    Store on pantry shelf- After opening store in refrigerator.
