Ingredients For mixed apple jam

5 mdgolden delicious apples

5 mdgranny smith apples

1 cwater

2 Tbsplemon juice

1 1/4 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspnutmeg

1/4 tspginger

1/2 tspreal butter

1 cfirmly packed dark brown sugar

4 csugar

2 pkgball liquid pectin
How To Make mixed apple jam

1Put butter and water and lemon juice is a pot on low warm

2Core slice and peel the apples, and dip in a cup of 1 part lemon juice and 3 parts water, then put into food processor

3add cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and Dark brown sugar, and blend until applesauce-like consistancy

4Add to pot, increase heat to medium, add sugar and pectin...bring to a rolling boil for 4 minutes, remove from heat

5Ladle into prepared half pint jars, leave 1/4 head space, add lids and process for10 minutes in water bath canner Remove jars, let stand for 12 hours
