These are two different recipes for Wine Jelly our neighbor up on my mountains use to make and give out at Christmas time. I started making the Strawberry Wine Jelly when Sutterhomes came out the their Strawberry wine, I think back in the early 70s as that is when we lived up in Northern California. I am working on a Blackberry Merlot Jelly wine.

Ingredients For three wine jellys

  • STRAWBERRY WINE JELLY
  • 1 c
    sutterhomes strawberry wine
  • 1 c
    strawberry juice, unsweetened
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 3 oz
    pectin
  • WHITE WINE JELLY
  • 1 c
    white wine
  • 1 c
    clear apple juice or cider
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 3 oz
    pectin
  • ROSE WINE
  • 1 c
    vino rose
  • 1 c
    cranberry juice
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 3 oz
    pectin

How To Make three wine jellys

  • 1
    Mix the wine, juice and sugar together and bring them to a boil. Add the pectin and continue boiling for 15 minutes.

    Pour into sterilize jars and place the canning lids on. Cool completely and store in refrig.
