Ingredients For blueberry jam bars

  • 1-1/3 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 3/4 c
    quick-cooking oats
  • 1/3 c
    packed, light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    lemon peel
  • 2
    3 oz pkgs reduced-fat cream cheese, softened.
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    blueberry preserves.
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice

How To Make blueberry jam bars

  • 1
    Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9 x 9 x 2" baking pan w/ cooking spray. In bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in oats, brown sugar and lemon peel. In lg bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smoth. Add flour mix to cream cheese mix, beat on low until crumbly. Reserve and set aside 1 cup of mix. Press remaining mix into bottom of pan. Bake 20 min. In another bowl, combine preserves and lemon juice. Spread mix evenly over crust. Sprinkle w/reserved crumb mix. Bake 15 min or until golden brown. Cool, cut into bars.
