Ingredients For apple pie jam

10granny smith apples
-
2 Tbsplemon juice
-
1 cwater
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract

1 Tbspcinamon

1/4 tspnutmeg
-
1/4 tspginger
-
1 cfirmly packed light brown sugar
-
1/2 tspreal butter
-
5 csugar
-
2 pkgball liquid pectin
How To Make apple pie jam

1Put butter, water, and lemon juice in pot on stove on warm

2Core, Slice and peel apples and dip into cup of 1 part lemon juice, 3 parts water, then add apples to food processor, {For Apple Pie Filling Just add sliced apples straight to pot}

3Add cinnamon, vanilla ,nutmeg, ginger, and brown sugar, and blend till applesauce consistency {for pie filling, just add all to pot and stir}

4Add sugar, and pectin, and bring to rolling boil for 4 minutes, remove from heat

5Ladle into prepared half pint jars, add lids and process for 15 minutes in water bath canner

6Remove jars, let stand for 12 hours
