Ingredients For apple marmalade

  • 4 c
    applesauce
  • 2/3
    lemon
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2
    bottle fruit pectin

How To Make apple marmalade

    Pare and slice apples, then add just enough water to prevent sticking.
  • 2
    Cover and cook until apples are soft.
  • 3
    Add grated rind and juice of lemon, and sugar.
  • 4
    Heat to boiling, stirring constantly, and boil hard for one minute, then remove from fire.

    Add fruit pectin, stir 1 minute and skim.
