Ingredients For tomato gravy

  • 4 Tbsp
    bacon grease
  • 1/4to1/2 c
    onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    heaping tablespoons of flour
  • 2/3 pt
    tomato juice
  • 1/8 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2/3 pt
    milk
  • -
    salt and pepper to taste

How To Make tomato gravy

  • 1
    Saute onion in grease until soft, add flour, brown lightly, add tomato juice, Let boil up. Add baking soda, stirring well, add milk and come to a boil. Add salt and pepper to taste.
