If it seems to thick or thin add more or less milk. If you like a little kick add a couple dashes of red pepper to gravy mixture.

Ingredients For sausage gravy

  • 16 oz
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, softened
  • 2 Tbsp
    self-rising flour
  • pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 1/2 lb
    jimmy dean patty sausage
  • 1/2 c
    water

How To Make sausage gravy

  • 1
    Melt butter in skillet add flour, mix well. Pour milk and water, stir on med heat until it starts to bubble. Remove skillet from heat. Brown sausage in pan. Drain grease and add sausage to gravy mixture. Cook on low for 5 min or so.
