my go to when i need a gravy... made this for x-mas dinner ...so easy and good....

Ingredients For mushroom gravy

  • 8 oz
    fresh mushrooms,what ever kind u like...as many kinds as u want]
  • 2 lg
    green onions
  • 5 clove
    garlic
  • 3 slice
    bacon
  • 1 tsp
    liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • sour cream,as needed
  • 1 Tbsp
    chives, dried

How To Make mushroom gravy

    in lg fry pan put bacon that is cut in bit size pieces...cook and fry til crisp...

    put onions,garlic in food processor remove and put in small bowl now chop mushroom..

    add onion/garlic to bacon stir well coatin with bacon fat now add mushrooms cook several min...

    while mushrooms cook mix flour and cream in small bowl add liquid smoke now add flour mix to pan cook and stir til it boils.... add sour cream to make it the thickness u want sprinkle chives on top after u pour gravy into servin dish
