Ingredients For country sausage gravy

1 lbpork sausage, sage flavored

2 Tbspfinely chopped onion

6 Tbspflour
-
1 qtmilk
-
1/2 tsppoultry seasoning

1/2 tspground nutmeg

1/4 tspsalt

1 dashworcestershire sauce

1 dashhot pepper sauce
How To Make country sausage gravy

1Crumble sausage into a large saucepan; cook over medium low heat.

2Add onion; cook and stir until transparent.

3Drain, discarding all but 2 tablespoons of drippings.

4Stir in flour; cook over medium low heat about 6 minutes or until mixture bubbles and turns golden.

5Stir in milk.

6Add seasonings; cook, stirring, until thickened.

7To serve, slice biscuits and spoon gravy over halves.
