This is a recipe for making some sauce that will compliment a nice French dip sandwich, or any other beef you choose to drizzle it on. It’s simple to make, and it doesn’t require cooking any beef. Ingredients For beef sandwich au jus dipping sauce
- PLAN/PURCHASE

2 Tbspgrapeseed oil

1/2 mdyellow onion, chopped

1 mdcarrot, finely chopped

1 clovegarlic, chopped

1/4 ccrisp white wine (sauvignon blanc, pinot grigio, pinot gris, pinot blanc)

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1 tsptamari
-
2 cbeef stock, not broth
How To Make beef sandwich au jus dipping sauce

1PREP/PREPARE

2Gather and prep your ingredients.

3Place the grapeseed oil in a sauté pan, or pot over medium-high heat.

4Add the onions, carrots, and mushrooms.

5Stir until the veggies begin to brown, about 5 to 7 minutes.

6Add the garlic, and continue to cook (while stirring) for an additional 2 minutes.

7Add the wine, Worcestershire, and tamari.

8Scrap up any brown bits (fonds) with a wooden spoon, and allow them to dissolve into the liquid.

9Pour in the beef stock, and simmer for 20 minutes.

10Pour the sauce through a fine mesh strainer, and discard the solids.

11Keep the sauce warm until ready for use.
