I use this on my breakfast pizza or with biscuits and gravy. I prefer bacon gravy over all others for breakfast dishes. I didn't have milk so I replaced the milk with cream of mushroom soup and took out the flour. It tasted perfect. So in a pinch or just for that touch of mushroom flavor swap out milk for cream of mushroom soup and water. Add water until you get the thickness you are looking for.

Ingredients For bacon gravy

  • 2-3 Tbsp
    bacon grease
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 2 c
    milk
  • pepper to taste

How To Make bacon gravy

  • 1
    Whisk bacon grease and flour together for about one minute over medium heat. Be sure not to burn the flour.

    Add milk; continue to whisk.

    Whisk in pepper as desired.

    Heat ingredients until bubbling and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
