STRAWBERRY SYRUP; CANNED from my heart and hands. Who doesn't Love Strawberries??? I just had to Enjoy the Fruits of the Season. This is My very own Personal recipe. Enjoy on pancakes, Waffles, ice cream, Cake or anything else your Heart Desires, as you know anything grandma cooks has gotta be Good

Ingredients For strawberry syrup by freda

6 ptfresh from the farm strawberries or 1/2 a flat. (should make 6-7 cups juice.)

3 csugar
-
2 Tbsppdr pectin
-
2 Tbsplemon juice
-
1 Tbspbutter, cold
- FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS; IN ORDER LISTED.
How To Make strawberry syrup by freda

1Wash and Sterilize Jars and lids in Pan of boiling water, Have ready. Measure out your 3 Cups sugar and set aside,

2Wash and Hull strawberries Mash well to to a Fine pulp or Pulvinate with a blender.

3Strain Strawberries in a Fine mesh Strainer, or (you can use Cheese Cloth.) you should have No seeds and Only Juice in the pan. (be patient its worth the Effort)

4Pour Strawberry Juice in a big 6 Qt pan on high heat, Stir Constantly, Add your Pectin now, (2 TBS PDR PECTIN) Stir well Bring to a full roling Boil.

5Add Sugar all at once. stir constantly, & bring to a Full rolling boil for 15 Minutes. Remove from Heat, add 1 TBS Butter, Stir well, Skin off any foam.

6Pour into sterilized jars, Seal at Once,

7Place Hot jars back into hot Water in Canner. Process in Water bath for 15 min @ full boil. . . . . Enjoy your Syrup.
