My son loves cranberry sauce and he also Loves sour! So I found this recipe and added a few of my touches to it, and he fell in love with it. Hope you enjoy as much as he does :D

Ingredients For sour apple - cranberry sauce

1 pkg12 oz raw cranberry's washed

1 1/4 csugar

6 lggranny smith apples (peeled,cored and diced)

1 1/2 cwater

3/4 cdried cranberries

1 smlemon juice, fresh
How To Make sour apple - cranberry sauce

1Rinse cranberries and place in a 5 Quart sauce pan, add sugar

2peel and chop apples, squeeze lemon juice from one small fresh lemon. add water

3Let simmer on Medium-high heat stirring often. After 15 minutes or until cranberries pop and mixture starts to thicken. Remove from heat, and stir in sweetened dried cranberries. Cool. Cover and chill until ready to serve. ****Can be saved in fridge for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy!!!!!
