Ingredients For red tomato chutney

  • 1
    (16 ounce) can whole tomatoes or may use equivalent of fresh tomatoes
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    white sugar
  • 2 c
    finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 c
    finely chopped white onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 2 -10 dash
    your fav hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make red tomato chutney

    In a heavy saucepan, stir together the tomatoes, brown and white sugars, green pepper, onion, ketchup, hot pepper sauce, and pepper. Cook at a simmer for about 2 hours, stirring frequently until thickened. Cool before serving. Keep refrigerated.
