I came up with this one on my own after altering a ball blue canning recipe for jam.

Ingredients For maple country applesauce

  • 6 lb
    apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    maple syrup

How To Make maple country applesauce

    Boil the apples til soft.
  • 2
    Use a food processor until it is a chunky puree.
  • 3
    put it back in the pot, add syrup and sugar.

    bring to a boil (212' F) and continue to boil slowly 5 more minutes.
  • 5
    ladel into hot jars. process in boiling water bath about 20 minutes depending on your elevation.
