This recipe orginally came from the Oregon Fruit Products Company and was featured on the Food Channel. It's tremendous over ice cream. If you don't have fresh cherries, you can use frozen cherries.

2 lbsweet cherries..pitted

1 cbrandy

1 csugar

4 tspcornstarch

1/2 tspalomond extract

1 csweet orange marmalad
How To Make connie's brandied cherry sauce

1In a saucepan, combine first 4 ingredients.

2Over medium heat, cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.

3Stir in almond extract and marmalade.

4If not using immediately, cover and refrigerate.
