I don't remember Mom putting this over ice cream, but I do remember her putting it over hot cake so that it seeped into the cake. She served it with a dollop of whipped cream, or sometimes put it in a 9x13 and after the sauce soaked in, added cool whip to the top, like you would for a poke cake.

1 corange juice

1/4 clemon juice

3/4 cboiling water

1 Tbspbutter

1 tspgrated orange peel

1 tspgrated lemon rind
How To Make clear orange sauce, mom

1Mix sugar, starch and salt in pan. Stir in juices and water, boil 1 min stirring constantly. Remove from heat, stir in butter and rinds. Pour hot over cake or ice cream.
