Delicious for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Even people who don't like cranberry sauce love this dish. Great with turkey, ham, roast pork, and beef. For a variation, I have used 1/3 cup of Frangelico instead of brandy and 1 tsp of orange extract instead of Cointreau because I was out of both. It is not as rich but still a very nice tart, sweet, orangy, mild mellow spiced cranberry sauce. Leaving the orange peels in when you put it on the table makes the dish look pretty, but don't eat the peels. You can remove the orange peels if you wish before serving.

These brandied cranberries will be a delicious addition to your holiday table. It's super easy to make and guaranteed to impress. As the cranberries bake in the oven, they burst to release their natural juices that mix with the sweet brandy. The brandy and orange liqueur is robust without being overpowering. Warm cinnamon adds another depth of flavor to the homemade cranberry sauce.
