Ingredients For blueberry ketchup

  • 21/2 c
    blueberries
  • 1
    small shallot minced
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    grated fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp
    each s&p

How To Make blueberry ketchup

  • 1
    Combine all ingredients in large sauce pan cook on med-high heat. Stir and simmer till sugar desolves and berries start to breakdown, about 5min. Turn to medium low stiring occationally til sauce is thickened 20-30min.

    Spoon into glass jars, refrigerate for four hours till thickened. Great on burgers!
