Ingredients For apple pear compote

    apples peeled cored and chopped
  • 3 md
    pears peeled cored and chopped
  • 1 md
    orange peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 c
    golden raisins
  • 1/2 c
    each dark brown sugar and maple syrup
  • 1/3 c
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    orange juice
  • 4 tsp
    cornstarch

How To Make apple pear compote

    In an instant pot mix the first 10 ingredients together. Secure the lid and select pressure cook hi and cook 8 minutes.

    Let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes then quick release.

    Mix the orange juice and cornstarch together. Carefully remove the lid and select saute and bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened about 2 minutes.

    Ladle into jar. wipe rims and secure lids. Water bath for 10 minutes.
