Ingredients For vietnamese peanut sauce for wings

  • 3 lg
    garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c
    fish sauce (or less if you prefer)
  • 1/3 c
    firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2-3 tsp
    asian chili-garlic sauce (or more to taste)
  • 3 Tbsp
    finely chopped toasted peanuts
  • 1/4 c
    combination of cilantro and mint leaves

How To Make vietnamese peanut sauce for wings

    Saute garlic in vegetable oil in a small saucepan over medium heat for 1 -2 minutes or until golden. Stir in fish sauce, brown sugar and chili-garlic sauce.

    Bring to a simmer over medium heat; stirring occasionally - 4 to 5 minutes or until thickened and reduced. Stir in toasted peanuts. Toss wings in sauce and sprinkle coated wings with cilantro and mint.
