I ran across this combination on the Smucker's web site. I changed one ingredient and got a very nice flavorful dressing. I took time to run this through the recipe analyzer, and it came out pretty good. 1 serving = 2 tablespoons, which equals 64 calories, 6 grams fat, 4.5 grams carbohydrates, and 20mg sodium.

Ingredients For strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing

  • 1/2 c
    strawberry sugar-free preserves
  • 2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar (or more to taste)
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil or canola oil
  • salt and black pepper, to taste (optional)

How To Make strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing

    WHISK together preserves, vinegar, mustard, pepper and water in medium bowl until thoroughly blended. Gradually whisk in oil. Season to taste with salt and additional black pepper, if desired.
