Very strong, not for the faint hearted, DO NOT DRINK IT! Vinegar helps break down fat on lamb/mutton etc. Use ONLY fresh mint, dried mint does not work for this recipe.

Ingredients For real mint sauce

  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh mint
  • 2 tsp
    brown sugar
  • Quarter tsp
    salt
  • pinch
    pepper
  • half c
    boiling water
  • Half c
    balsamic vinegar

How To Make real mint sauce

  • 1
    Very finely chop mint.
  • 2
    Into a cup add mint, salt, pepper, sugar n boiling water, stir, leave to brew for ten mins.
  • 3
    Top up cup with balsamic vinegar. Serve over Lamb/Mutton. Also great on peas.
