Ingredients For purple top turnip and apple slaw

2 lgpurple top turnips

1 mdapple any variety

1/3 craw dried pumpkin seed

1/3 colive oil
-
1/2lemon
- DRESSING:

1 Tbspcider vinegar
-
1 Tbsplemon juice
-
1 tspdijon mustard
-
1 Tbsphoney or maple syrup
-
1 tspchopped thyme
-
salt and pepper to taste
How To Make purple top turnip and apple slaw

1Peel turnips and slice into 1/4 inch slice. Stack slices on top of each other cut as thin as you can into matchsticks. Repeat with unpeeled apple.

2Place in a large bowl, and squeeze 1/2 lemon juice over apple so they don't turn brown.

3MAKING THE DRESSING:

4Combine remaining ingredients( except pumpkin seed ) in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid. Shake until combined.

5Mix pumpkin seed, dressing and slaw until combined. Serve chilled.
