I didn't like bleu cheese salad dressing, but I liked the thickness, so...in 1960 I whipped up my "un-bleu cheese salad dressing. Since "Ranch Dressing" is now the rage, I call mine "Old Time Ranch Dressing". ENJOY!!!

1 1/2 cmayonnaise

2 tspred wine vinegar

1/8 tspdry mustard

1/8 tspgarlic powder

1/4 tsppeppercorns, ground

1/8 tspcelery seed

2 tsponion flakes, dehydrated (i use 1-2 teaspoon(s) grated brown onion)

1-2 Tbspmilk to thin a little

1Mix all ingredients in a bowl, thin by adding milk a little at a time. We want it the consistency of sour cream.

2Store in glass jar with tight fitting lid. Refrigerate.
