Ingredients For lemon thyme olive oil

  • 2 c
    olive oil
  • 3
    lemons
  • 1 c
    fresh thyme
  • 1
    clean glass jar w/lid

How To Make lemon thyme olive oil

    Peal lemons cut in strips, place in jar. Place thyme in jar.

    In pan warm olive oil (do not boil)
  • 3
    Pour warm oil over lemon and thyme, cover and store in dark place, lightly shake daily. after 2 weeks strain through cheese cloth.

    Bottle in green or dark bottles. Olive oil will go bad in clear bottles over time.
