We LOVE to eat at the Melting Pot (a fondue restaurant), and one of our favorite things there is their Green Goddess dip. It can be used on potatoes, meat, and even chips! I asked our server what their main ingredients were and then came home and created a recipe that turned out pretty close.

Ingredients For green goddess taste-a-like

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese (or 1 brick)
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp
    chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 2 Tbsp
    chives
  • 1/4 to 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt

How To Make green goddess taste-a-like

  • 1
    Be sure your cream cheese is softened a bit before mixing. Mix the cream cheese and sour cream (doesn't have to be smooth - slightly chunky is fine).

    Add onion, parsley, chives, and garlic salt. Mix well.

    Refrigerate until serving. Tastes GREAT on baked potatoes!
