Ingredients For giddy-up spicy ranch dressing

  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/3 c
    buttermilk or milk + 2 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    worchestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme (more if fresh)
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano (more if fresh)
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp
    cayenne or chopotle
  • 1
    finely diced jalapeno

How To Make giddy-up spicy ranch dressing

    Whisk together all the ingredients save the milk. Add this slowly as you whisk until the desired consistency. Place in fridge for 2 hours to blend. It will thicken a bit as it cools.

    Eliminate the cayenne and jalapeno for regular ranch. Add 1/3 c parmesan for parmesan ranch. Add 2-3 oz blue cheese for a blue cheese dressing. Leave it thicker if using for a dip for raw veggies or for chicken tenders or wings. Also will work as a an excellent pasta salad dressing.
