creamy gorgonzola dipping sauce

This paired well with my asperagus appetizer, but you can dip just about anything in it. Blue cheese can be used for this as well. Blue cheese is sharper than Gorgonzola , so the flavor will be more intense. For very mild cheese flavor you could try some crumbled feta. It is delicious no matter what crumbly cheese you try.

Ingredients For creamy gorgonzola dipping sauce

  • 1/2 c
    mayonaise or low fat mayonaise (not mracle whip)
  • 1/2 c
    low fat sour cream. no fat has too much sugar.
  • 2 Tbsp
    white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 c
    crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • pinch
    of salt (optional)
