This is a nice way to fruit up vinegar in salad dishes. Got this in a magazine a time ago and think the idea is splendid. Hope it is one you can use.

Ingredients For cranberry vinegar

  • 1 qt
    white vinegar
  • 1 pkg
    12 oz. fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar

How To Make cranberry vinegar

    In a medium sized saucepan,combine ingredients

    Bring to a boil over medium high heat about 10 minutes.

    Once boiling, cook for 3 minutes or until cranberries are split and liquid is red. Remove from heat.

    Carefully pour 1/2 the mixture thru a fine sieve or paper towel lined strainer into a large bowl. Discard solids

    Repeat with second half of mixture. Cool completely. Using a funnel, pour vinegar into assorted bottles . Refrigerate until gift giving, or use
