I triple the recipe as my family just does not put it on a salad. They pour it over their meat, potatoes, vegetables it is that GOOD! Was raised on this stuff and this recipe tastes exactly like my grandmothers.

I made this recipe for my new son-in-law & he loved it so much that he literally drank the remaining dressing left in the bowl!!! It came from a PA Dutch friend.

How To Make amazing hot bacon salad

Wisk together first 7 ingredients. Fry bacon, in a medium frying pan, until well done & pour the wet ingrdients into the hot pan. Do not drain the grease! Cook on medium until thickened, about 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, tear a bowl of mixed head & romaine lettuce. Add a thinly sliced red onion. May add hard-boiled eggs, if desired. Pour the hot dressing over the salad & serve.
