I borrowed this recipe from my sister-in-law, Laura Gwaltney, many years ago after sampling it at a family Christmas dinner. I took it to work last year for our Christmas party, and they all loved it! You be the judge!

Ingredients For yummy holiday cheese ball (by laura)

  • 1 pkg
    (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jar
    (5 oz.) old english cheese spread
  • 1 jar
    (5 oz.) roka cheese spread
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped fine (or may use 3 tbsp. minced onion)
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 pkg
    walnut pieces

How To Make yummy holiday cheese ball (by laura)

    In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together, except walnuts.

    Form mixture into ball shape and place on a plate. Cover with chopped walnut pieces.

    Refrigerate overnight and serve slightly chilled with assorted crackers.
