We love veggies and not so much meat, so we love these " Veggie-Cheese Balls " for sure.Thy were a big hit at Christmas this year! Warning; Sriracha sauce is a hot chili sauce,use maybe less for kids !!!!! .....If you make 2 batches you won't regret it.

Ingredients For veggie cheese balls

2 cfresh broccoli,( steamed 3 min.,cooled ,chopped and squeezed to drain excess water

2 cshredded colby-montery jack cheese blend (8 oz)

1 coriginal bisquick mix
-
1egg ( beaten slightly )
-
2 Tbspfinely chopped red bell pepper
-
2 Tbspfinely chopped carrot
-
1 tspgarlic salt or onion salt
-
2 tspsriracha sauce (chili sauce found in asian section of grocery store )note; we found it at wal-mart
- DIPPING SAUCE
-
1/2 csour cream
-
2 tspsriracha sauce
-
2 Tbspsliced green onions ( 2 medium)

2 Tbspfinely chopped red bell pepper

1/4 tspseasoning salt or to taste
How To Make veggie cheese balls

1Heat oven to 350 F. Spray or grease bottom & sides of 15x10x1-inch pan.

2In large bowl ,stir together veggie - cheese ball ingredients.Slightly wet hands with water for easier rolling;Shape mixture into 1" balls;Place on pan 2" apart.(they will flatten some while cooking)

3Bake 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.Meanwhile in a small bowl, Mix dipping sauce ingredients with spoon.

4Immediately remove balls from pan.Serve warm with sauce for dipping.
