1/2 Tbspbutter or margarine

1 cfinely chopped onion

2 Tbspworcestershire sauce

8 ozsour cream

1/2 cmayonnaise or miracle whip

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tsppepper
How To Make the best french onion dip

1In medium skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat until melted; add onion. Cook and stire 3 to 5 minutes or until tender and lightly browned.

2Remove from heat, stir in worcestershire sauce. Cool completely.

3In medium bowl, combine cooled onion mixture, sour cream, mayonnaise, salt and papper; mix until blended.

4Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to allow flavors to blend.

5Will keep for days if covered and recipe doubles easily.
