This sauce is really easy to make yourself! I love having control of the amount of heat and knowledge of exactly what’s in it! I was making homemade egg rolls and whipped this up in just a few minutes! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

  • 1/4 c

How To Make sweet chili sauce

  • 1
Mince garlic and hot & sweet chili (or spicy chili of your choice) set aside
  • 2
Use the additional 1/4 cup cold water and mix with corn starch to create a smooth slurry.
  • 3
Heat water, rice vinegar, and sugar bringing mixture to a boil. Stir to dissolve sugar.
  • 4
Add minced garlic and chilies, along with red pepper flakes and cayenne.
  • 5
Reduce heat to a simmer and stir for 3-4 minutes until sauce begins to thicken.
  • 6
Stir in cornstarch and continue simmering for an additional 1-2 minutes until desired thickening is achieved.
  • 7
Remove from heat. Sauce will thicken slightly more as it cools. Add small amount of water if needed to thin it back down.
