Ingredients For stout cheddar cheese dip

4 Tbspbutter

4 Tbspall purpose flour

1 cheavy whipping cream

11 ozbottle of guiness draught stout

1/2 conion

2 cshredded cheddar cheese

1 tspdry mustard

1 Tbspworcestershire sauce

1bay leaf

salt and pepper
How To Make stout cheddar cheese dip

1In a medium sauce pan, melt butter.

2Add flour to melted butter and cook for five minutes, stirring constantly.

3Whisk in heavy cream and then whisk in beer.

4Add onion, dry mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Whisk together.

5Slowly add in cheese about a half cup at a time, whisking together each time.

6Add in bay leaf and let thicken over very low heat.

7Serve with large pretzels. Otis Spunkmeyer has some very good pretzels that you just warm up in the oven for a few minutes. If you are feeling adventurous, you could make your own pretzels.
