st. john's dip
(5 ratings)
My mother taught me to make this dish when I was ten, around 1971. It's easy to put together and so far has been a hit every time I've made it. Great as an appetizer or a side dish. For a larger crowd, double and place in 9 x 13 pan.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
This has all the flavor of a tasty burrito without the tortilla! It's a deconstructed burrito made into a delicious dip. Refried beans and a meat mixture are the base for the dip. Sour cream adds creaminess. Gooey cheese is the perfect topping to hold in all the yummy layers. Serve with tortilla chips for the ultimate game day dip.
