I really love this dip. So simple, but so expensive at the store for a small container and this is better.

Ingredients For spinach & cheese dip

  • 1/2 c
    mayo
  • 1 pkg
    8oz container of sour cream
  • 1/2 can
    (4oz can) sliced water chestnuts, drained and rinsed
  • 2 Tbsp
    sliced green onions or chives (few sprigs snipped)
  • 1/4 pkg
    (10oz) frozen chopped spinich, thawed and squeezed to remove extra water
  • 1/2 c
    or shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 pkg
    (1.8oz package) dry leek soup mix
  • 2 Tbsp
    roasted red peppers, chopped (optional)

How To Make spinach & cheese dip

  • 1
    Mix together mayonnaise, sour cream, dry leek soup mix, water chestnuts and fold in chopped spinach, cheese, red peppers. Chill in the refrigerator 6 hours, or overnight.

    To serve place dip in serving bowl with assorted vegetables and crackers, or place in a sweet bread bowl. Snip chives or sprinkle onions on top.
